BYT offers an opportunity to support minority entrepreneurs such as women and people of color, who often struggle to raise funding. We believe that there is a gap and insufficient resources for minority entrepreneurs to showcase their business to potential investors. Through our professional experience, connections, and outreach activities, our team aims to narrow this gap.
About
We all know fundraising is not easy, and it's even more challenging for minority entrepreneurs. With experience living in Taiwan, the United States, and Israel, we recognize that there are many entrepreneurs who fall under the radar of investors and are struggling. We launched this project for those entrepreneurs, especially those who aren’t from the U.S. and plan to raise funds in the U.S. or outside of their home countries.
What We Do
Angel Investing
Beyond access to our platform, BYT will routinely screen and select early-stage companies to invest in and provide constant value along their journey. As our portfolio grows, it allows more people to access an ever-expanding group of talented minority entrepreneurs. However, BYT does not offer any investment advice or recommendations.
Value Creation
We take an active role in our portfolio companies and will gladly offer our support, connections, and expertise to the team. We aim to help minority entrepreneurs grow their companies and, most importantly, connect with more potential investors.
Narrow The Gap
We invest from our own pockets and make individual decisions. With this initiative, our goal is to promote great minority-owned businesses. With access to the right resources, entrepreneurs can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to scale their companies.
